Regrow Healthy, Beautiful Hair With Minimally-Invasive and Non-Surgical Solutions

Although typically associated with men, hair loss affects many women in the form of thinning to varying degrees of baldness. Hair loss can be traumatic and damaging to self-esteem, and traditional hair restoration solutions can be costly, painful and require extensive recovery time.

Fortunately, science, nature, and technology have come together to revolutionize the field of hair restoration. Today, we’re able to offer several leading-edge solutions for hair loss in women.

Hair loss can occur for any number of reasons.

Do any of the conditions below apply to you and your hair loss?

  • Female Pattern Hair Loss – at all stages of hair loss
  • Hypotrichosis (fine/reduced hairs) of the eyebrows
  • Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis
  • Metabolic causes of hair loss – iron deficiency and medication-induced hair loss
  • Hypothyroidism

Hormone optimization requires an integrated approach

The Evexias team approach to female hormone optimization is evidence-based and does not involve experimentation or guessing.

We ascribe to a functional medicine model, which focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of each patient’s medical issues. After a proper diagnosis is made we strive to achieve hormone balance (or homeostasis) through a combination of hormone replacement with nutrition and gut health protocols where needed. While some women simply experience a natural decline in hormones, others may have difficulty metabolizing hormones or struggle with low thyroid, leaky gut, toxicity, vitamin deficiencies and other ailments.

Consequently, the practitioner may prescribe thyroid supplements, detoxification protocols, nutritional supplements, weight loss programs and other treatments in conjunction with bio-identical hormone replacement pellet therapy.

Regrowing hair can be done naturally, pain-free, and without scarring. Upon consultation with the Evexias team, we will determine which of the following treatment plans will best serve you. Common plans include:

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP) SCALP THERAPY

For the Scalp PRP treatment, we inject PRP and nutrients into the scalp to encourage hair growth. Men and women may see hair growth as early as two months, but patients typically see results between 4 to 8 months, with continued improvement for up to one year following treatment.

While some mild swelling of the forehead may occur, recovery from the procedure is typically quiet. Plus, pain is usually well managed with over-the-counter pain medications, such as ibuprofen.

NEOGRAFT HAIR RESTORATION

The FDA-cleared, NeoGraft® Automated Hair Transplantation system uses the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method to remove hair follicles from the back of the head gently. NeoGraft® uses a controlled pneumatic pressure to slide out the graft smoothly, so there is no pulling or twisting, which could damage the graft.

The donor follicles are then implanted into the areas of the scalp where hair loss has occurred. The result is a discreet, natural-looking hairline and fuller head of hair.

This is the least invasive hair transplantation therapy available, leaves no scars or numbness, and yields permanent results that allow hair to grow for the rest of your life.

NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS

Science-based Metagenics® products meet the highest standards for research and manufacturing. Thanks to its impeccable manufacturing standards, Metagenics® is one of the first companies in the dietary supplements industry to achieve three independent certifications for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by world-leading arbiters.

Depending on your individual needs, our medical team may recommend various nutritional supplements in your treatment plan which work in tandem with other wellness treatments.

Common supplements we recommend include:

ADK: A combination of Vitamins A, D3, and K2 to support bone and cardiovascular health

DIM: A supplement including the plant indole diindolylmethane to optimize the metabolism of estrogen and testosterone

Iodine: A nutrient to promote hormonal balance and whole body health

IMPORTANT: Before taking any supplement, please consult your healthcare provider.

THYROID OPTIMIZATION

There are two types of hypothyroidism. With Type I, the thyroid gland doesn’t produce an adequate amount of thyroid hormone, something that is easy to diagnose. Conversely, with Type II hypothyroidism, the thyroid produces sufficient levels of hormones, but the cells are unable to utilize the hormone properly.

Hypothyroidism has been deemed an epidemic by leading physicians and endocrinologists alike. While Type I is typically diagnosed and treated early in life, Type II is NOT, and some experts estimate 50 to 80 percent of the population suffers from the misunderstood and misdiagnosed sister to Type I.

Chronic pain, cancer, sleep apnea, diabetes, heart conditions, gastrointestinal ailments, and reproductive disorders are just a few ailments that can be caused by hypothyroidism. We recommend (and prescribe) natural glandular therapy and iodine to treat the symptoms of thyroid insufficiency because it produces far superior results to synthetic thyroid hormones.
