Who is AcuPulse for?

Generally, AcuPulse is a great choice for those who want to avoid injectables like Botox or fillers.

However, it’s also great for patients who want to improve damage caused by sun, smoking, or treat surgical and traumatic scars.

What to Expect

Have you decided AcuPulse is what you’re looking for? Here’s everything you need to know.

The treatment time depends on the area being treated but can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 90 minutes.

Typically, patients report minor or no discomfort for superficial treatments. Patients getting deep treatments (advanced sun damage or scarring) report more discomfort.

However, a topical anesthetic will be applied before any procedure. Also, most patients choose to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen before their treatment.

While you will notice improvements right away, the best results are seen within 3-6 months. The lasting effects of your treatment will largely depend on:

  • Your lifestyle.
  • The environment you live and work in.
  • Your skincare routine.

Before any treatment, you’ll have a consultation in which we will outline your skincare goals as well as look at your medical history.

In this consultation, we will give you all the pre-treatment skin prep. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, tanning/self-tanning at least two weeks before and for 48 hours after treatment.
